Scientific Program – Call for Papers
The conference scientific programme is expected to be comprised of plenary sessions with lectures by invited keynote speakers, parallel workshop sessions, solicited oral presentations and posters.
We invite oral presentations and posters relevant to any of the topics shown within the Scope of the conference according to the following main session topics:
- Science drivers for future airborne science missions
- Organisation of future field campaigns
- Developing future airborne science capabilities and platforms
- New developments in instrumentation and data
The contributions may include highlights of results from recent field campaigns, especially where this has driven development of the infrastructure through new instrumentation or data procedures or where other significant logistical or organizational issues have had to be overcome. In addition we will welcome discussion of planned or proposed airborne science campaigns, their demands for new instrumentation, access to airspace, and limitations imposed by platform capabilities. Contributions representing both manned research aircraft and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) are equally welcome.
The schedule of sessions by day and time will be shown in the preliminary programme that will be posted online in June 2017.
It is expected that conference sessions will be scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10 -13 July 2017 starting at 10:00 and lasting until 18:00 at latest. The dedicated poster session is planned for Tuesday afternoon and the Research Aircraft Exhibition for Wednesday afternoon.
